A PhD programme has been opened in the Department of Civil Engineering as of the autumn semester of 2012-2013 academic year. The aim of the PhD programme is to advance the academic R&D studies carried out in the department and to provide the student with the ability to conduct independent research, to examine scientific events, to interpret and to determine the necessary steps to reach new syntheses.

Developing a new scientific method,
It must fulfil one of the qualifications of applying a known method to a new field.
