Our department has established partnerships with various universities of European Union member countries for short-term student and academic staff exchange through Erasmus, a program to encourage multi-directional cooperation between European universities. As of 2018, approximately 400 undergraduate students participated in the exchange program at universities with agreements in Europe, within the framework of the Erasmus program.

Our department also cooperates with the International Relations Departments of many universities at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels through the Farabi Program, which provides student and lecturer exchange between universities in Turkey.

As required by our department policy, we attach a particular importance to exchange programs. In this context, especially within the framework of the Erasmus program, we aim to both diversify the number of countries and universities which we have agreements, and increase the number of students participating in the exchange program.
