Dear Young People

With the honor and responsibility of being the Dean of a well-established and great institution such as Bursa Uludag University Inegol Faculty of Business Administration, I wish that our Faculty will leave traces in all of your lives that you will remember with pride and affection and that it will form the basis for an academic and personal accumulation that will shape your whole life.

Undoubtedly, university education is one of the most important stages of a professional career. However, focusing solely on vocational education in this process will lead to the neglect of human and social values, ethical and moral principles, which have an important place in the performance of every profession without exception.

For this reason, university education should be approached holistically and seen as part of the process of self-construction. The purpose of education is not only to teach certain knowledge, facts, events or phenomena.

Education is perhaps the only way for human beings to do justice to their creation and existence as equal creatures. The ability to distinguish right from wrong, good from bad, and right from wrong can only be acquired through education. Education is not only a process of transferring knowledge, but also activates thought and paves the way for the use of the intellect endowed to human beings. Science cannot be done with education that does not nurture thought.

From an academic point of view, it is our ultimate goal to see our Faculty as an institution where science and thought develop, ideas are freely expressed, shared and thus enriched and multiplied. The integration of all our faculty members with our students will ensure the growth of young people who think, question and discuss. The existence of these young people will always keep our hopes for the future alive.

I firmly believe that we will achieve this goal with a peaceful and productive working environment that we will create together by acting in love, respect, unity and solidarity.
